14kt Herringbone Bracelet, 1940s Papier Mache Jack O Lantern, Halloween Cat Doorstop

It's all about the stories, isn't it? If you're wondering what story you could tell in your antique booth with a 14kt Herringbone Bracelet, 1940s Papier Mache Jack O Lantern, Halloween Cat Doorstop, you might purchase from our auction, there's one posted below.

The point here, is to invoke a bit of spark to our inventory (if you're a re-seller) because people buy on emotion. They want the stories, the provenance, they want the fun and the mystery that this business brings! Without that, we are left with only "merch"

Many of you are great storytellers already, I've learned that when you come to pickup your auction wins! It's with that ethos that I continue.

So while the story below is mostly fiction, we have plenty to tell that aren't, I don't want to forget those!

If you'll indulge us...

The attic was a treasure trove of forgotten memories. Sunlight filtered through the dust motes, illuminating the 14kt herringbone bracelet nestled in a velvet-lined box. It whispered tales of elegant evenings and clandestine romances. Nearby, a mischievous grin spread across the 1940s papier mache Jack O Lantern, its paint faded but its charm intact. And guarding the doorway, a playful Halloween cat doorstop stood sentinel, its painted eyes glinting with an air of mystery.

Each piece held a story, a fragment of the past waiting to be rediscovered. It was time to let these treasures find new homes, to spark joy in someone else's life. With a bittersweet smile, Amelia photographed each item and uploaded them to the online auction site, their descriptions filled with warmth and nostalgia. It was the end of an era, but also the beginning of a new chapter.

Or if you just want to cut to the chase, below is one of many examples of our 245 auction lots this week which we feel are on the bargain block!
